About Us

Randolph purchased his first investments while still in high school after watching “Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser” with his dad over 40 years ago. He is a lifelong learner with a passion for researching investments and helping others achieve financial goals and objectives.

Randolph V. Glein graduated from the University of Washington with a BA-Accounting (Beta Alpha Psi) in 1977. He worked in private industry until he decided on a career in public accounting. Randolph earned his certificate of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1988.
  In 1992 he started building the Certified Public Accounting Firm of Randolph V. Glein, CPA. In an effort to better serve his clients, Randolph enrolled in the AICPA Personal Financial Planning educational program. He successfully completed this program and received from the AICPA the Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning. In 1996, he sat for and passed the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist exam (PFS). To assist prospective investment and financial planning clients, Randolph became a Registered Investment Advisor. He passed the Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam in November 1997 and is now a Washington State Registered Investment Advisor.

Randolph is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the AICPA Division of Personal Financial Planning.

Randolph is married to Jungsoon Glein and they have two children. Their son Christopher recently graduated and received a PHD in geology from Arizona State University and is working as a research scientist in Washington D.C. Their daughter Natasha is currently working as a bookkeeper and is considering a career as a CPA.

Randolph is currently serving as Treasurer, and has served on the board of directors of West Sound Treatment Center for over 19 years. West Sound Treatment Center is a United Way Agency whose mission is to “improve lives and restore hope” by providing a responsive, integrated array of services based on participants need including housing, treatment, counseling, training and re-entry services.
